Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Texas Mold Companies (“we”, “us”) collects through texasmoldcompanies.com, why, and who we share it with. We’ve kept it short and plain.

What we collect

When you request a quote: what you need (testing, cleanup or not sure), your ZIP code or city, anything you write about the problem, your name, phone number and email address, and the page you sent the request from.

When you request a correction: the listing, your relationship to it, what you’d like corrected, an optional license number, your name and email address.

When you browse: like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use it

• To pass your quote request to one licensed mold company in your area, who may contact you about it.
• To look into correction requests and reply to you.
• To keep the site working and secure, including filtering spam.

Who we share it with

We’re an independent directory. If you request a quote, we pass your details to one licensed company in your area, who may contact you. It costs you nothing. That company handles your information under its own privacy practices.

We also use service providers to run the site — web hosting and an email delivery service that carries form submissions to us. They process data only to provide those services.

We don’t share correction requests with anyone outside our team.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and correction requests only as long as we need them to handle your request, deal with follow-up questions and keep basic records.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject line. If you’d rather a mold company didn’t contact you after a quote request, tell that company directly as well.

Children

This site is for adults arranging work on a property. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

Using the site is also covered by our terms of use.

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
